  This review is for delivery through doordash.
  Haven't eaten applebees in YEARS, because the ones nearby all closed down. But just found them on doordash recently, and ordered it through them tonight.
  My go to order was always a cheeseburger and fries, so I ordered my usual, and eveything was great, just as good as I remember it years ago.

  Restaurant smelled like a diaper bag, and the restrooms were super dirty.
  
  The food itself didn't taste good at all. We ordered the buffalo boneless wings, and they tasted like the frozen Tyson wings that they sell in Walmart for $3.49.
  
  Don't recommend it... BUT my girlfriend did say the waiter was really nice, and was attentive towards our table lol

  While the food is great at least, the service and wait is ridiculous. We frequently order food to go at this location and the amount of servers that see you waiting to be approached without saying a word is ridiculous - and when you ask for assistance the servers give you attitude. If you're going to order to go- you might as order it through delivery. They really need to work on customer service!!

  First and last time I eat at this location! Not only was the wait too long on a slow day but it took them almost a half hr to get me a simple thing as a spoon. And I get home to see I was charged correctly the first time and the second time almost $15 more! Didn't get any drinks whatsoever! This place is a joke!!!! I wish I could give it no stars!!!!

  I live in the Chicago Downtown area and it's very rare that I go out of the city to eat somewhere unless I'm wondering around in the deep suburbs.
  
  My boyfriend and I, along with two other friends, were on a Costco run when we decided to take a trip to Applebee's and try out their 2$ Hurricanes (one of the drink specials for the month of February). It's about a 30 minute drive from downtown, so we were hoping the trip would be worth it. When we arrived the place was packed. It was a Friday night, so that was expected. Our wait was minimal and we were seated in about 10 minutes. They have a lot of specials going on. They have a 2 for 20$ special and a 2 for 25$ which included more or better main dish options. We both opted for the 2 for 25$; it seemed like the better deal. We both ordered the Boneless Chicken Wings as appetizers. My boyfriend and I had the Spicy Texas Wings and our friends ordered the Buffalo. Both tasted really good, but I liked the Buffalo way more! For our main dishes, I ordered the Thai Shrimp Salad and my boyfriend had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. The food took forever to come, but our waitress was really professional and kept updating us every few minutes.
  
  The food tasted okay, nothing mouth watering like. My boyfriend was a little disappointed with his dish because it only came with like 3 shrimps and the chicken was really small. My salad was okay, it had a good amount of shrimp in it, and the dressing was spicy.
  
  The hurricanes were very disappointing. We couldn't taste any alcohol. It tasted just like cranberry juice and a lot of added sugar. We were expecting to order 5 each, but we just ended up ordering 1 drink, eating and heading back to the city. I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary. This is a chain restaurant, so that's understandable. The service however was wonderful and our waitress was such a delight. She's basically the reason for 3 stars.
